摘要: Abstract Iron and manganese oxides are common components of soils. They frequently occur in nodules constituting important soil sorbents play a crucial role number chemical reactions the environment. In addition, very sensitive to environmental changes (moisture, pH, Eh) indicators soil-forming processes water movement landscape. The objectives study were: i) examine distribution size Fe-Mn Albeluvisols containing fragipan horizon; ii) determine morphology composition nodules, iii) estimate effect horizon on within profile. An investigation was carried out five profiles classified as Fragic Carpathian Foothills Poland. studied, maximum concentration occurred lying directly horizon. This suggests that pan acts natural barrier restricting infiltration leads seasonal development perched table promoting redox processes. most coarse (1–0.5 mm) medium (0.5–0.25 irregular showing gradual boundary undifferentiated internal fabric. Eluvial horizons contained also larger amounts round dense with sharp boundary, suggesting frequent oxidation reduction. mainly soft longer saturation during year. Concentrations trace elements (Cu, Zn) P were higher than surrounding materials, iron adsorbed immobilised these elements.
