摘要: Regulatory T-cells (Tregs) constitute a small subset of cells involved in antitumour immunity and are generally increased patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). No data is available on Tregs monoclonal B-cell lymphocytosis (MBL), disease entity characterized by less than 5000/microL circulating clonal B-cells absence other features lymphoproliferative disorders. We used multicolour flow cytometry to evaluate the number 56 "clinical" MBL, 74 previously untreated CLL 40 healthy subjects. MBL showed lower absolute Tregs, compared patients, but slightly higher controls. Moreover, cell directly correlated both more advanced Rai/Binet clinical stages peripheral blood lymphocytosis. Of note, was found staged as 0/A Rai/Binet. The study that Treg increase gradually from normal subjects significantly patients. significant direct relationship between values tumor burden expressed B-lymphocytosis or stages. In light this data, seems be preliminary phase preceding CLL. progressive numbers might contribute evolution overt progression.
