摘要: A selective medium, TSBV (tryptic soy-serum-bacitracin-vancomycin) agar, was developed for the isolation of Actinobacillus actinomycetemcomitans, agar contained (per liter) 40 g tryptic soy 1 yeast extract, 100 ml horse serum. 75 mg bacitracin, and 5 vancomycin. The medium suppressed most oral species permitted significantly higher recovery A. actinomycetemcomitans than nonselective blood medium. distinct colonial morphology positive catalase reaction easily distinguished this bacterium from Haemophilus aphrophilus, Capnocytophaga species, a few other contaminating organisms. With even modestly equipped laboratories will be able to isolate identify clinical specimens.
