摘要: During the 1980s a large number of firms refocused or down-scoped using multiple divestitures. This paper reviews recent empirical research (1983-1996) to isolate and identify antecedent conditions that lead downscoping its outcomes. Antecedent include changing environmental conditions, firm governance, ineffective strategy, poor performance, financial restructuring. Outcomes process examine how strategy has changed effect on employees performance. I develop model classify into topic areas discuss future directions related issues.
