摘要: Publisher Summary The emission of carbon dioxide has become a serious problem because recent global warming. increase in levels over the last hundred years or more have been reported. Several efforts to immobilize utilize achieved. Recent interest problems environmental pollution forced development green chemistry process for chemical industry. environment-friendly processes developed. Biocatalytic such as fermentation and enzyme reactions attracted attention environmentally safe process. Biodegradable polymers also proved interesting safety. Among biodegradable plastics, poly(L-lactic acid) widely studied. methods developed produce lactic acid from many sources. However, most them racemic form require relatively longer time multiple steps obtain pure L-lactic acid. These disadvantages are problematic, not only large-scale production but Therefore, simple method, that can optically acid, is desired. A new enzymatic synthesis pyruvic acetaldehyde reaction utilizes reverse pyruvate decarboxylase sodium bicarbonate buffer.
