摘要: Background A largely forgotten technique initially designed by Sihler for staining nerve tissue has not been fully explored intramuscular branches in skeletal muscles. Methods Fresh, long heads of triceps from locally bred New Zealand white rabbits were used this study. Immediately after their removal, the muscles with motor radial fixed 10% unneutralized formalin, followed maceration and depigmentation 3% aqueous potassium hydroxide, decalcification Sihler's solution I, micro-dissection, II, destaining neutralization 0.05% lithium carbonate, clearance increasing concentrations glycerin. Results A clear three-dimensional orientation distribution within muscle belly was visualized. It found all specimens that head rabbit constantly innervated three main each them supplied different amounts fibers some variation. Conclusion The neural can be applied to study limb muscles. Extension may utilised identification neuromuscular compartments Such information usefully free transfer segments muscle. Anat. Rec. 247:137–144 © 1997 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
