Growth and hole density control through equilibrium oxygen annealing of optimally doped Y1−xCaxBa2Cu3O7−δ single crystals

摘要: We have grown calcium and oxygen co-doped Y1−xCaxBa2Cu3O7−δ (CD-Y123) single crystals using a self-flux method. A process of fine tuning the content to reach equilibrium state through in situ monitoring conductivity change is established. Structural, compositional electronic property characterizations optimal CD-Y123 indicate that they are high quality with sharp superconducting transition width 0.2 K.
