摘要: This paper reports the performance of particle swarm optimization (PSO) for assignment blood to meet patients' transfusion requests transfusion. While drive donation lingers, there is need effective and efficient management available in banking systems. Moreover, inherent danger transfusing wrong types patients, unnecessary importation units from external sources, wastage products due nonusage necessitate development mathematical models techniques handling distribution among order minimize wastages sources. gives rise problem (BAP) introduced recently literature. We propose a queue multiple knapsack with PSO-based solution address this challenge. Simulation based on sets randomly generated data that mimic real-world population types. Results obtained show efficiency proposed algorithm BAP no wasted very low importation, where necessary, outside bank. The result therefore can serve as benchmark basis decision support tools real-life deployment.
