Propagation of EEG activity in the beta and gamma band during movement imagery in humans.

摘要: Objectives: The objective of the paper was determination electrical brain activity propagation in sensorimotor areas during hand movement imagery. Methods: Right-hand and left-hand imagination studied three subjects. 10-channel Multivariate Autoregressive Model (MVAR) fitted to EEG signals recorded from subsets electrodes overlying central related areas. By means Short-time Directed Transfer Function (SDTF) as a function frequency time found. Results: During imagery relation between propagations gamma beta bands changed significantly for areas, namely increase accompanied by decrease band. Conclusions: hypothesis put forward that these kinds changes flow are connected with specific information processing.
