摘要: Abstract The Nd-langasite compound contains planes of magnetic Nd 3 + ions on a lattice topologically equivalent to kagome net. susceptibility does not reveal any signature long-range ordering down 2 K but rather correlated paramagnetism with significant antiferromagnetic interactions between the and single-ion anisotropy due crystal field effect. Inelastic neutron scattering powder single allowed probe its very peculiar low temperature dynamical correlations. They present unusual dispersive features are broadly localized in wave vector Q revealing structure factor associated characteristics short-range correlations atoms. From comparison theoretical calculations, these results interpreted as possible experimental observation spin-liquid state an anisotropic antiferromagnet.
