摘要: Summary Sentinel lymph node biopsy is widely accepted as the state-of-the-art in breast cancer management today. This technique allows for accurate nodal staging, while affording patients benefits of minimally invasive surgery. There are a number controversies, however, which surround this ranging from technical execution procedure, to patient selection, pathological analysis sentinel node. article reviews literature and presents current data addressing these issues.
