摘要: India is one of the rapidly developing and emerging economies world. There has been recorded continuous decline in share agriculture allied sectors its gross domestic product which an expected outcome for a fast-growing structurally changing economy. Ancient records show that, among Indo-Aryans, arable land was held by family ownership. The British governed from 1750 to 1947. are number strategic issues governance development under different plans policies. Land reforms connected with right life livelihood huge rural population. negative consequences urban pull factors results into upcoming slums squatter settlements. A chronological analysis past 12 Five Year Plans makes it clear since inception Planning Commission, industrialisation equated development. reform remained focal point country’s political economic agenda. means distribution surplus small farmers landless cultivators. So, lessons learned experiences will also help other countries global fight against hunger poverty.
