摘要: A facile and simple synthetic route towards functionalized non-spherical polymer particles (NSP) with tunable morphologies iridescence is presented. Monodisperse unique zwitterionic functionality were synthesized via emulsifier-free emulsion polymerization in a single step process. The sulfobetaine comonomer was utilized to induce phase separation the course of achieve anisotropic NSP controlled such as quasi-spherical protruding structures like bulge, eye-ball, snowman-like nanostructures. Both SEM TEM analyses revealed particles, phase-separated protrusion morphology small increase aspect ratio. By taking advantage monodisperse, colloidally stable NSPs, template free photonic crystal arrays fabricated through bottom-up approach. readily self-assemble exhibit bandgap vivid structural colors that arise from ordered different morphologies. Additionally, salt-responsive crystals also possess color-changing characteristics.
