摘要: In this paper we present data on breeding parameters of Little Tern Sterna albifrons, Common hirundo and Gull-billed nilotica nesting in Sfax salina south-eastern Tunisia. The abundance peak was reached between the end April beginning May for during Tern. Egg laying started from third to fourth week Terns across three years study, number nests per colony varied 1 75 Tern, 101 114 Clutch size 4 3 with significant differences among years. For species, reproductive success, i.e. fledged chicks pair, largely colonies Lowest highest recorded values were 0 1.8 Tern; 2 0.8 This low success is thought be mainly caused by terrestrial predation disturbance.
