摘要: Abstract Purpose To determine the sensitivity and specificity of OCT angiography (OCTA) in detection choroidal neovascularization (CNV) age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Design Prospective case series. Subjects A prospective series 72 eyes were studied, which included with treatment-naive CNV due to AMD, non-neovascular normal controls. Methods All underwent OCTA a spectral domain OCT. The 3-dimensional angiogram was segmented into separate en face views including inner retinal angiogram, outer choriocapillaris angiogram. Detection abnormal flow retina served as candidate OCTA. Masked graders reviewed structural alone, combined cross-sectional for presence CNV. Main Outcome Measure compared gold standard fluorescein determined Results Of 32 CNV, both identified 26 true positives resulting 81.3%. Four 6 false negatives had large subretinal hemorrhage improved 94% if excluded. addition along 100% graders. Structural alone also 100%. 92.5% grader 97.5% B. 85% Cross-sectional Conclusions Sensitivity approaches that OCT, it is better than alone. has excellent detection. False from can be mitigated information
