摘要: Quality of life considerations may be an important factor in medical decisions, but it is not known how well physician’s assessments match those their patients. The authors studied the elderly inpatients (n=65) and physicians (n=50) concerning patient quality resuscitation decisions for patients’ current health situations two hypothetical situations. Physicians rated more negatively than did patients; differences ranged from 0.35 to 0.80 on a 5-point scale with end points labeled “very poor life” “possible have good life.” were also less likely favor scenarios (p<0.01); 0.66 1.40 “definitely yes” no.” In both physician groups, significantly correlated some others. These results indicate that patients differ these associated decisions.
