摘要: Zooplankton, mysis (Mysis sp.) and herring (Clupea harengus) were collected at two pelagic locations in the northern part of Baltic Sea, one Bothnian Bay (BB) other Sea (BS), order to investigate concentrations, composition profiles, biomagnification features spatial differences organochlorine contaminants. Compounds included this study are hexachlorocyclohexanes (HCHs), DDTs, hexachlorobenzene (HCBz), chlordanes (CHLs), dieldrin, mirex polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs). All groups compound detected every sample investigated, with exception that was only samples. The concentrations compounds all samples ranged, e.g. from 250 1500 ng/g lipid for PCBs 6 150 CHLs. factor (BMF) is calculated as concentration organism divided by food normalised lipids. In zooplankton-mysis-herring web, large variations BMFs between different observed. highest obtained CHLs followed DDTs lowest HCHs. Nonachlorinated had within group p,p'-DDT a higher potential than its metabolites p,p'-DDE p,p'-DDD. Finally, stations southernmost station (BS) displayed approximately two- sixfold north (BB).
