摘要: 1 A survey of the macrobenthos community was carried out in Lake Illawarra, NSW, Australia, during April and May 2011. 2 The aim this study to understand current status characteristic macrobenthic fauna community, temporal changes over past 30 years, as well impacts anthropogenic activities on benthic ecosystem. 3Fifteen stations were selected representative three main areas lake (the entrance channel, central basin sublittoral fringe), which might be impacted by different kinds human activities. 4 total 45 species identified. Mollusca represented most abundant taxon with 17 species, followed Crustacea 16 species. Three dominant, i.e., mollusk Nassarius burchardi, polychaeta Lumbrineris sp. Nephtys australiensis. 5 abundance biomass variable between areas. Based Bray Curtis similarity macrobenthos, 15 sites also divided largely into groups. 6 MAMBI index analysis indicated that eight (57.1%) had 'good' 'high' ecological (ES), four (28.6%) 'moderate' ES, two (14.3%) 'poor' 'bad' indicates Illawarra reasonably good condition, but evidence disturbance impact communities obvious at several sites.
