摘要: Evidence is presented for the existence of a wave number 3, westward traveling 2-day oscillation in temperature measurements made by Nimbus 5 SCR and 6 PMR instruments. The has largest amplitude mesosphere at low latitudes summer hemisphere markedly asymmetrical meridional structure. It suggested that may be free similar to 5-day identified data Rodgers (1976). vertical structure shows little phase tilt slight indication an increase with height.
