摘要: Abstract Conventional and geo-spatial Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) techniques are compared using pollution from shrimp farming as a case study. EIA procedures involved sampling analysis through site visits. Results presented cause–effect–impact matrices. The procedure fitting mathematical models for the spectral reflectance data obtained satellite imagery. generated were then used to assess spread of over large areas, at different time intervals. This showed that offers advantages such spatial temporal variability conventional procedures.
