摘要: Infections caused by Human Cytomegalovirus (HCMV) and Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) are common in multiple transfused patients, such as patients with beta-thalassaemia. The ability of the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) to amplify HCMV EBV DNA from blood other samples makes this technique a valuable diagnostic tool for detection both viruses early stages infection. PCR was used amplification 435 bp region immediate early-1 (IE-1) gene 375 sequence EcoRI B fragment genome. Blood 80 beta-thalassaemia were examined. found 14 12 patients. results obtained confirm implications diagnosis viral infections well importance tool.
