摘要: Abstract This paper reports the synthesis of three europium glasses in composition 44.5B 2 O 3 + 44.5P 5 10R SO 4 (where R = Li, Na and K). For these optical glasses, physical non-linearity property parameters have been computed from their densities refractive indices at different wavelengths (656.3, 589.3 486.1 nm), respectively. On excitation with 395 nm (Xe-Arc lamp radiation) Eu 3+ were found to be red fluorescent richness colour was high Li -glass compared K glass systems. The radiative properties transitions -glasses can understood by correlating measured photoluminescence spectra Judd-Ofelt intensity factors obtained recorded absorption spectra.
