Effect of Cs impregnation on the properties of platinum in Pt/Na-BEA and Pt/Cs-BEA catalysts

摘要: The presence of alkali cations in zeolite framework provides peculiar basic properties that influence the characteristics and reactivity supported metal particles. Particularly, addition increasing amounts cesium Pt/Na-BEA Pt/Cs-BEA catalysts, by CsOH impregnation, leads to changes oxidation state reducibility Pt species present microporosity. For similar contents impregnated Cs, dispersion is higher than series, showing both amount Cs excess nature compensating cation affect species. In case Cs-overloaded Pt/Cs-BEA, size nanoclusters below 10 A. very small nanoparticles reduced are particularly active aromatization n-hexane.
