摘要: Abstract Dunn T. S. , Hanna R. E. B. and Nizami W. A. 1987. Ultrastructural histochemical observations on the epidermis, presumptive tegument glands of miracidium Gigantocotyle explanatum (Trematoda: Paramphistomidae). International Journal for Parasitology 17 : 885–895. The is invested with 20 ciliated epidermal cells arranged in four tiers (6: 8: 4: 2 = 20). Non-ciliated ridges cytoplasm, located between cells, are continuous an extensive multivesiculate syncytium which underlies body musculature comprises main bulk miracidium. It suggested that represents sporocyst tegument. Two distinct types present anterior region miracidium, viz . a large, syncytial apical gland single pair small, unicellular lateral glands. papilla formed by bounding membrane gland, elevated into complex network anastomosing lamellae. terminate discrete rosetteshaped areas papilla. possible function digenetic miracidia nature their secretions discussed.
