摘要: The design of oligonucleotide sequences for the detection gene expression in species with disparate volumes genome and EST sequence information has been broadly studied. However, a congruous strategy yet to emerge allow sensitive specific probes. This study explores use phylogenomic approach align transcribed vertebrate protein families genomewide 70-mer probe bovine porcine. array contains 23,580 probes that target transcripts 16,341 genes, about 72% total number genes. porcine 19,980 targeting 15,204 76% genes Ensembl annotation pig genome. An initial experiment using demonstrates specificity sensitivity array.
