Mathematical analysis of energy efficiency optimality in multi-user OFDM systems

摘要: The strong need and global interests for green communications necessitate the maximum reduction of energy consumption. Hence, one major challenges is to optimize resource allocation improve efficiency in an orthogonal frequency division multiple access system. In this paper, we analyze energy-efficient problem mathematically. Our analytical results show that optimal can be achieved by primarily assigning user with either best channel gain or least power. Furthermore, our detailed case studies such are consistent result obtained from exhaustive search method. This means proposed approach provide quick better allocation. It expected real-time situ extending current methodology. Copyright © 2014 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
