摘要: Abstract Infrared spectroscopic studies in the 3000–4000 cm−1 region are reported for eighteen hydrogen-bonding systems involving proton donors methanol, ethanol and t-butanol acceptors acetone, ethyl acetate, dioxane, benzophenone, dimethylformamide pyridine, solution CCl4. Equilibrium constants formation of 1:1 hydrogen-bonded complexes have been determined. Enthalpies complex (calculated from temperature dependence spectra over range −10° to +60°C) 2.2–4.0 kcal mole . Both frequency differences (Δν) between bands due uncomplexed complexed alcohol molecules integrated intensities (B°) were found be dependent, but half-widths H-bonded virtually independent temperature. Data fifteen O-HṫO lie fairly close Badger-Bauer line correlating ΔH Δν, results three pyridine marked disagreement with this relation. all studied, as well other data available literature, show a correlation B°.
