摘要: A method for Roebel transposition of form wound conductors (202) electrical machines is disclosed which creates less distortion strand geometry and more efficiently stacks the conductor strands (212, 222, 232, 234, 242, 244). The involves four (210, 220, 230, 240) (202), where two 244) from a top position in first adjacent are transposed side-by-side places to other with corresponding downward shift second upward 240). Compared traditional pattern involving only transposing verticallyadjacent 244), four-stack produces stack height reduced by one strand, reduces likelihood strand-to-strand short circuits because smoother transition involved.
