摘要: The level of carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) in the bile 17 patients with benign pancreatic and biliary diseases 50 cancer were determined by enzyme immunoassay. specimens obtained at time percutaneous transhepatic cholangiography. was centrifuged supernatant used for CEA measurement, while cell pellet examined cytologically. High values significantly more frequent than those or diseases; increased concentrations observed 76.0% 60.0%, respectively, all localized cancer. location had no influence on level, but levels tended to be high when tumor distant metastases, tract completely obstructed. Although a value frequently, measurement is not sufficient distinguish an individual patient from other disease, since overlap between too great, therefore, additional examinations are required. Correct diagnosis malignancy made cytological examination alone, assay alone visual dye 72.0, 76.0, 88.0% examined, combination these methods raised diagnostic rate 100%.
