摘要: Laser welding assisted by a cold filler wire (LWCFW) and hybrid laser–gas metal arc (HLGMA) were applied to execute the of 6.63-mm-thick high-strength steel (HSS) plates. The corresponding hardness distribution, tensile strength, micrographs welded HSS experimentally obtained. Results show that LWCFW can achieve good weld quality without groove preparation is usually required in HLGMA welding. A narrower fusion zone heat-affected be achieved as compared However, size gap butt joint limited. It was found when about 1 mm used joining plates square with 4 kW fiber laser power diameter 0.9 mm, an acceptable could achieved.
