Experimental Verification of the Theory of Folding of Stratified Viscoelastic Media

摘要: An experimental check has been obtained for the stability theory of stratified viscoelastic media in compression. Model tests have conducted both an elastic layer and a viscous embedded medium subject to compression parallel with layer. The appearance folds measured wavelengths are good agreement theoretical predictions.
