摘要: Marine macroalgae are potential sustainable feedstock for biorefinery. However, this use of is limited today mostly because farming takes place in rural areas medium- and low-income countries, where technologies to convert biomass chemicals biofuels not available. The goal work develop models enable optimization material exergy flows macroalgal biorefineries. We developed the currently widely cultivated red Kappaphycus alvarezii being biorefined production bioethanol, carrageenan, fertilizer, biogas. Using flux balance analysis, we a computational model that allows prediction various fermentation scenarios identification most efficient conversion K. bioethanol. Furthermore, propose implementation these farms cultivate Philippines India.
