摘要: Abstract Interaction of Yersinia enterocolitica (Y.e.) and HeLa cells was tested with 102 epidemiologically defined strains various sources. Strains causing a penetration fell into either two groups, i.e. an infection > 75%, or infecting only 2 to 11% cells. The first group represented by members serogroups 3 9 which are the most important agents human yersiniosis in Germany. Single cultures each 0:7,13 (isolated from river water), 0: 1,2a,3 0:4,32 (reference culture collection Institut Pasteur) were characterized similar infectivity. — Infection rates irregularly observed O-groups 5; 6,30; 6,31; 7,8; 7,13; 16; “not typable”; majority these serogroups, however, gave negative results as well representatives 4,33; 5,27; 10; 11,23 ( ). Examination limited number formalin-killed suspensions same reactions living bacteria corresponding strains, but heating at 100 °C destroyed ability interact It is concluded observations that heat-labile surface components might be essential for Y. e. interaction killed does not reflect situation vivo, it could indicative presence one virulence factors collectively constitute pathogenicity. On premises high degree infectivity (> 75% tissue infected) considered significative examined present study show acceptable correlation between cell known bacteriological epidemiological facts.
