摘要: The phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI 3-kinase, PI3K) pathway transduces signals critical for lymphocyte function. PI3K generates the phospholipid PIP3 at plasma membrane to recruit proteins that contain pleckstrin homology (PH) domains – a conserved domain found in hundreds of mammalian proteins. PH domain–PIP3 interactions allow rapid signal propagation and confer spatial component these signals. kinases Akt Itk are key effectors bind via their mediate vital processes such as survival, activation, differentiation lymphocytes. Here, we review roles regulation signaling lymphocytes with specific emphasis on Itk. We also discuss other domain-containing they relate more broadly immune cell Finally, highlight emerging view multifunctional protein often both lipid substrates exert effects.
