摘要: Objective We present clinical and radiologic data of periodontal tissue involvement preceding the appearance osteonecrosis jaw (ONJ) in 5 patients with solid tumors, who received antiresorptives alone or combination targeted therapies. Study Design Five before dental extraction were studied. Results Periodontal was evidenced by pain, bleeding, fistula, purulence, swelling, pocket, tooth mobility. Combined endoperiodontal lesions considered 1 patient. Duration symptoms ONJ diagnosis lasted 8 to 24 weeks. Routine therapy performed 2 patients. Widening ligament observed 4 patients, dense alveolar bone seen Local complications required extractions Spontaneous exfoliation Alveolar biopsies, after confirmed osteonecrosis.
