摘要: Summary One of the most valuable ecological potentials soil organic matter (SOM) is based on its highly dynamic nature, which enables flexible reactions to a variety environmental conditions. SOM controls large part processes occurring at biogeochemical interfaces in and may contribute sequestration chemicals. This contribution focuses dynamics from viewpoint that regards as an amorphous matrix, weak intermolecular interactions rather than covalent binding are considered. view conception supramolecular assembly, was first suggested studies by A. Piccolo R. L. Wershaw. Based our recent results thermal analysis SOM, central hypothesis regardless individual molecular mass, undergoes physicochemical matrix aging, driven cross-linking via bridges water molecules. In this study, we have made efforts evaluate water-bridge with proton NMR relaxation wideline NMR. The clearly indicate changes time line shape induced manipulations history, suggests increase side-chain mobility upon heating remains after cooling. Side-chain slowly decreases again within least 1–2 weeks. Our current strongly suggest even longer aging periods. observation supports molecules bridge segments SOM. be easily disrupted, while re-formation slow due diffusion limitation matrix.
