摘要: Multiple sclerosis (MS) afflicts genetically predisposed individuals and is associated with T lymphocyte-mediated damage to the myelin sheath of neurons in central nervous system, resulting severely impaired signal transmission. The mechanisms induction manifestation MS are not entirely understood. control autoimmune disorders accomplished by both tolerance which autoreactive lymphocytes eliminated thymus that operate periphery. Among many described, regulatory (Treg) cells derived from (tTregs) induced (iTregs) periphery as well type 1 (Tr1) involved disease models. However, precise details generation perpetuation these various Treg subsets their relevance regulation diseases remain elusive. In this review, we critically analyze current knowledge its animal model, experimental encephalomyelitis.
