摘要: The rainfall characteristics is changing in Korea due to a climate change and global warming occurring all over the world. Because mean annual precipitation increasing while total days are decreasing, ultimately intensity increasing. Considerable losses expected because of abnormal floods. Accordingly, it necessary establish reasonable countermeasures cope with disaster by suggesting diverse alternatives. goals this study assess vulnerability for floods, analyze decrease capability applying prevention alternatives, derive suitable alternative. South Han River Basin selected as test basin controls floods only Chungju multi-purpose reservoir levee. Since flood control capacity seems not be sufficient compared its large catchment area, operation may affect state damages upstream downstream reservoir. discharge close design occurred at Yeoju bridge, which one main points basin, from July 2006 storm. That shows weakness protection basin. event analyzed storm events equivalent 1 ~ 1.5 times simulated vulnerability. Finally, alternatives established based on management assessed each alternative case PMF occurrence results show that development new reservoir, structural methods most efficient if reservoirs system accomplished.
