摘要: Acne is a common inflammatory skin disease which affects the pilosebaceous units of skin. It can have severe psychological effects and leave patient with scarring. There are four well-recognized pathological factors responsible for acne also target therapy. In this review, different treatment options discussed, including topical (i.e., retinoids, antibiotics) systemic antibiotics, hormonal) treatments. Since general public has been showing an increasing interest in more natural generally safer options, use complementary alternative medicines (CAM) treating was discussed. The physical therapies such as comedone extraction, cryoslush therapy, cryotherapy, electrocauterization, intralesional corticosteroids optical treatments mentioned. extensively researched regards to mechanism well options. However, due resistance Propionibacterium acnes towards available there need new methods. Additionally, lack necessary evidence on efficacy CAM makes it researchers investigate these further.
