摘要: Seedling liners of three tree species (Fraxinus uhdei, Pistacia chinensis, and Zelkova serrata) were planted in the field grown for 18 months. Pneumatic air excavation followed by digital photography, three-dimensional modeling, root analysis showed there significant differences architecture among within each species' population. Among species, chinensis had, on average, deepest, most vertically oriented systems Fraxinus uhdei serrata shallowest; however, shallow-rooted deep-rooted genotypes species. Shallow- rooted selected from seedling populations propagated vegetatively cuttings, field, 5 to 6 years. On model creation, cutting-propagated clones was assessed using liminal angles individual angles. Cutting-propagated parents shallow-rooted; thus, they maintained parents' architecture. also did not maintain their Results are discussed terms genetic, physiological (e.g., auxin treatment, adventitious formation), environmental soil moisture) factors that can affect growth development.
