摘要: Abstract In this paper water and air management systems were developed for a miniature, passive direct methanol fuel cell (DMFC). The membrane thickness, system, system gas diffusion electrodes (GDE) examined to find their effects on the balance coefficient, utilization efficiency, energy efficiency power density. Two membranes used, Nafion ® 112 117. 117 cells had greater coefficients, higher efficiency. A which utilizes additional cathode layers (GDL) makes use of filters was tested. Water improved with addition two GDLs. coefficients increased from −1.930 1.021 using 3.0 mol kg −1 solution at current density 33 mA cm −2 . an filter further coefficient 1.131. Maximum 20 mW cm 25 mW cm solutions by upgrading second third generation GDEs, obtained E-TEK. There no significant difference in found between GDEs. 63% 16% achieved 66 mA cm
