摘要: We propose a novel method to reconstruct the hypothetical geometry of healthy vasculature prior intracranial aneurysm (IA) formation: Frenet frame is calculated along skeletonization arterial geometry; upstream and downstream boundaries aneurysmal segment are expressed in terms local basis vectors; then reconstructed by propagating closed curve skeleton using frames so that boundary smoothly morphed into boundary. This methodology takes account tortuosity requires minimal user subjectivity. The applied 22 clinical cases depicting IAs. Computational fluid dynamic simulations without IA performed haemodynamic stimuli location formation examined. observe locally elevated wall shear stress (WSS) gradient oscillatory number (GON) highly correlated (20/22 for WSS 19/22 GON) with regions susceptible sidewall whilst indices associated oscillation vectors have much lower correlations.
