摘要: Abstract A composite of polyaniline with a flexible nonwoven textile spacer (viscose or PET) has been successfully prepared. Aniline monomer units were initially bound to the surface substrate and subsequently chemically polymerised in its solid state. The prepared was then employed within four-layer electrochromic device (ECD), previously developed by ourselves. consists polyaniline–nonwoven sandwiched between two electrodes. lower electrode is silver carbon black deposited on PET upper transparent PET/ITO. reversible colour change observed, from green blue, when an electrical voltage (±3 V) applied device. Because used state it offers alternative liquid ECD reduces problems owing satisfactory sealing leakage. This paper outlines preparation characterisation display prototype which applied. benefits drawbacks technology are discussed.
