摘要: This experimental study examines the properties of heat transfer, pressure drop and thermal performance factor (TPF) a narrow undulant channel enhanced by skew sinusoidal wall-waves 45° ribs. Detailed Nusselt number (Nu) distributions over wavy ribbed wall are generated steady-state infrared thermography method examined along with accompanying coefficient (f) in test Reynolds (Re) range 800–9000. With references to numbers (Nu∞) coefficients (f∞) smooth plain tube, area-averaged transfer enhancement (HTE) ratios, augmentations (f/f∞) TPF for tested compared those obtained from other passive HTE devices. Empirical correlations evaluating (Nu¯) assist design activities using this newly devised measure.
