摘要: Dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA) is used to investigate the effect of alkyl side chain length on relaxation behavior poly(n-alkyl acrylates) (PnAA) and methacrylates) (PnAMA) above glass transition temperature (Tg). Master curves shift factors (log aT) were obtained using time–temperature superposition (TTS) principle. The log aT PnAA PnAMA exhibit a dynamic crossover from one Vogel–Fulcher–Tammann–Hesse (VFTH) equation another Tg. corresponding was designated as (Tc). It found that Tc/Tg apparent activation energy (Eg) increases, e whereas fragility index (m) decreases with increasing length. Further shows m ∝ Tg, Eg∝ , m2 for both PnAMA.
