摘要: Data are presented on 694 criminal homicide victims killed in the city of New Orleans during four years; 1979, 1982, 1985, and 1986. The rate for black males was 6.5 times higher than that white years studied. Over 70% were by handguns. When assigned to one five socioeconomic strata, rates blacks exceeded those whites a factor at least 2.5 each stratum. White more likely be legally intoxicated time death, but nearly have illicit drugs other alcohol detected. During period investigated, there marked decrease number with pentazocine tripelennamine ("Ts blues") detected an abrupt increase detectable phencyclidine cocaine levels.
