摘要: Effects of chronic treatment with angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor or an receptor antagonist in two-kidney, one-clip hypertensive rats. The effects II (Ang II) blockade (losartan) inhibition (enalapril) on blood pressure (BP), urinary albumin excretion (U alb V), renal histology and the hemodynamic excretory function clipped nonclipped kidneys were studied (2-K 1-C) One day after clipping right artery, male Wistar rats divided into three groups receiving: (1) losartan, 20 mg/kg/day (N = 7), (2) enalapril, 8), (3) no (controls, N=9) for weeks. Both losartan enalapril treatments maintained conscious BP at comparably lowered levels compared to control animals (116 ± 6mm Hg 113 2mm vs. 188 11mm Hg, respectively, P V, observed untreated group, weeks (1.7 0.5 0.7 0.1 mg/24 hr 17.8 7 hr, V from was approximately 5- 10-fold higher than treated groups. Histological evaluation revealed evidence early glomerulosclerosis but not groups, decreased indices glomerular size mesangial expansion group. These data support a primary role Ang modulation kidney 2-K 1-C rat.
