摘要: Objective This study was aimed to establish local reference values for hematological indices and hemoglobin (Hb) fractions in umbilical cord blood (UCB) the northern population of Tunisia. Study design Our included full-term newborns by vaginal deliveries. Hematological parameters were collected using an automated cell counter. The amounts Hb measured capillary electrophoresis Hb. Statistical analysis performed R software. Results A total 328 samples analyzed. Among them, 154 (male: 44.8%, female: 55.2%) used values. normal complete count (CBC) calculated. Mean neonatal 14.75 ± 2.26 g/dL. Gestational age affects expression CBC as red (RBC), Hb, hematocrit (Hct), mean corpuscular volume (MCV), white (WBC), profile. Umbilical hemogram profile are affected environment; higher from urban regions but not gender ratio. Conclusion Reference ranges have been successfully established Tunisian neonates' UCB. data suggest that could be useful patients' laboratory results clinical interpretation. Key points · established.. UCB is identify hemolytic anemia cases early.. influenced gestational probably environmental factors..
