摘要: A 2-μm fiber Amplified Spontaneous Emission (ASE) source provides a wide emission bandwidth and improved spectral stability/purity for given output power. The ASE is formed from heavy metal oxide multicomponent glass selected germanate, tellurite bismuth oxides doped with high concentrations, 0.5-15 wt. %, thulium (Tm 2 O 3 ) or 0.1-5 wt% holmium (Ho mixtures thereof. concentration of dopants provide highly efficient pump absorption quantum efficiency. Co-doping Tm Ho can broaden the spectrum.
