摘要: Wireless sensor network (WSN) technology is rapidly maturing and gaining momentum as an enabling for Internet-of-things, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITSs). This paper introduces the design of a novel, cost-effective intelligent vehicle counting classification system. Distinctive algorithms vehicles detection, counting, signature re-identification were developed integrated. The system's integration wireless communication, smart sensors, discussed in detail. Various experimental analysis scenarios are reported. A preliminary study resulted 98% accuracy detection. After system improvement detecting class 9 by analyzing inter-arrival time, detection reached 100%. Estimated cost proposed less than $40.
